Beware - Not all Stainless Steel gravity water filters are the same. Some brands do rust out. We learnt the hard way.
The other trick is some suppliers will advertise they have 12, 18 or 24 litre gravity water filters. This is only correct IF the bottom tank will hold those volumes of water. As most stainless steel gravity water filters have the top tank sitting on top of the bottom tank, the maximum volume of water those filters can hold is as the Filteroo® Steel gravity water filters are advertised. 6 litre, 9 litre & 12 litre.
So when you see a 12 litre system, that is really a 6 litre bottom tank holding capacity. An 18 litre system is really holding 9 litres & the 24 litre system will only store 12 litres of water inside the bottom holding tank.
If you fill any Stainless Steel gravity water filter with more water than the bottom tank can hold, the excess water can leak out onto the bench. Except for the specially designed Filteroo® Superoo which can never ever leak.
The Superoo will hold a total of 16 litres, 8 litres in the bottom tank and 8 litres in the top concealed tank. And once the water is used from the bottom tank the water will automatically naturally filter down into the bottom tank ready to use. Perfect…

The beauty of the Filteroo® rain & city water carbon block cartridges, combined with the Filteroo® MAX Fluoride reduction cartridge, is they team up to create the perfect filtration solution for town & city water from the tap that has been treated with chlorine, chemicals and fluoride.
This is the combination of 2 x cartridges. To start the water filters down through the Filteroo® carbon block cartridge. The carbon media used will greatly reduce herbicides, pesticides, chlorine, chloramines, taste & odour from the water. So you get nice tasty drinking water for your home. Carbon is internationally recognized by institutions that provide quality assurance on safe and pure drinking water. A great asset for any Australian water filter.
As the water passes through the first carbon filtration stage it exits & flows into the fluoride reduction cartridge. Here the fluoride, arsenic, lead & heavy metal ions are removed. The water continues on its journey through the fluoride reduction media cartridge which also has granular activated carbon within the media. Carbon is a fantastic way to clean & polish up water so it tastes the best it can. The carbon inside this cartridge does just that, after the fluoride filtration the last carbon polishes up the water so you get sweet lovely tasty water every time.

What is the Filteroo® MAX Fluoride Reduction Cartridge?
This Filteroo® MAX fluoride reduction cartridge is a great way to remove fluoride from your drinking water with a gravity water filter. It is a container made from 304-grade stainless steel that holds fluoride reduction media inside, and it is refillable. So no more plastic cartridges hanging down into your drinking water, no more plastic waste every time you change and throw away a used cartridge.
Simply purchase a refill pack when required, and change the satchel inside the holder. Plus, this cartridge is much cheaper to replace than completely new plastic cartridges. Save the environment and drink tastier water with no plastic cartridges hanging in your filtered drinking water.
Simply flush the cartridge as per the included instructions, then screw to attach the MAX fluoride cartridge onto the threads of the Black Carbon Block cartridges so the MAX fluoride cartridge hangs down into the bottom water storage tank.
As the water is filtered through the carbon block cartridges in the top tank, the water will continue its journey down through the MAX fluoride cartridge removing fluoride. A simple slow filtration process which allows the water to have sufficient contact time with the cartridge media to remove that unwanted fluoride.

Plus when the media inside the housing expires, you can simply replace the media with a refill satchel. So no plastic waste like with the old-style fluoride removal cartridges. What Makes This Product Unique
It is the design with the top tank concealed inside the bottom tank that makes this gravity water filter so unique. We are not aware of any other Stainless Steel gravity water filters like the Superoo. It is just so easy to use, you can simply top it up any time you like with no risk of leaking like normal stainless steel gravity filters. With the concealed 8 litre top tank, as you use the filtered water from the bottom tank, the water automatically filters down from the top tank into the bottom tank.
Combine that, with the slow gravity filtration process to remove the contaminants, whilst at the same time retaining the healthy minerals in the water for us to consume.
When Not Used
If the filter is left to stand for more than 3 - 4 days without use, it is recommended that one litre of water be allowed to flow through the cartridge to waste before using.
Highly recommended for city water supplies treated with chlorine or chloramine and Fluoride. The Filteroo® Max fluoride removal cartridge connects directly onto the bottom of the carbon cartridge.

This is the combination of 2 x cartridges. To start the water filters down through the Filteroo® carbon block cartridge. The carbon media used will greatly reduce herbicides, pesticides, chlorine, chloramines, taste & odour from the water. So you get nice tasty drinking water for your home. Carbon is internationally recognized by institutions that provide quality assurance on safe and pure drinking water. A great asset for any Australian water filter.
As the water passes through the first carbon filtration stage it exits & flows into the fluoride reduction cartridge. Here the fluoride, arsenic, lead & heavy metal ions are removed. The water continues on its journey through the fluoride reduction media cartridge which also has granular activated carbon within the media. Carbon is a fantastic way to clean & polish up water so it tastes the best it can. The carbon inside this cartridge does just that, after the fluoride filtration the last carbon polishes up the water so you get sweet lovely tasty water every time.

What is the Filteroo® MAX Fluoride Reduction Cartridge?
This Filteroo® MAX fluoride reduction cartridge is a great way to remove fluoride from your drinking water with a gravity water filter. It is a container made from 304-grade stainless steel that holds fluoride reduction media inside, and it is refillable. So no more plastic cartridges hanging down into your drinking water, no more plastic waste every time you change and throw away a used cartridge.
Simply purchase a refill pack when required, and change the satchel inside the holder. Plus, this cartridge is much cheaper to replace than completely new plastic cartridges. Save the environment and drink tastier water with no plastic cartridges hanging in your filtered drinking water.
Simply flush the cartridge as per the included instructions, then screw to attach the MAX fluoride cartridge onto the threads of the Black Carbon Block cartridges so the MAX fluoride cartridge hangs down into the bottom water storage tank.
As the water is filtered through the carbon block cartridges in the top tank, the water will continue its journey down through the MAX fluoride cartridge removing fluoride. A simple slow filtration process which allows the water to have sufficient contact time with the cartridge media to remove that unwanted fluoride.

The reason this product is so unique is because the outer housing is made from quality stainless steel. No more plastic hanging in your drinking water. Plus when the media inside the housing expires, you can simply replace the media with a refill satchel. So no plastic waste like with the old-style fluoride removal cartridges. Now you are only replacing the media inside the housing with the new satchel. Environmentally friendly is the best way to go.

What Makes This Product Unique
It is the design with the top tank concealed inside the bottom tank that makes this gravity water filter so unique. We are not aware of any other Stainless Steel gravity water filters like the Superoo. It is just so easy to use, you can simply top it up any time you like with no risk of leaking like normal stainless steel gravity filters. With the concealed 8 litre top tank, as you use the filtered water from the bottom tank, the water automatically filters down from the top tank into the bottom tank.
Combine that, with the slow gravity filtration process to remove the contaminants, whilst at the same time retaining the healthy minerals in the water for us to consume.
When Not Used
If the filter is left to stand for more than 3 - 4 days without use, it is recommended that one litre of water be allowed to flow through the cartridge to waste before using.
Highly recommended for city water supplies treated with chlorine or chloramine and Fluoride. The Filteroo® Max fluoride removal cartridge connects directly onto the bottom of the carbon cartridge.
